Hello! My name is Joey, and I’m the face behind Shift Bicycle Company. I’ve been a professional bike mechanic for over 15 years and a lifelong cyclist. My passion for bikes and the culture around them eventually led me to open my own shop.

I didn’t want to create just another ordinary bike shop. My goal was to build a space where people feel welcome to hang out, have a cup of coffee, and share their passion for cycling with like-minded folks.

A lot of the inspiration for Shift comes from the skate, moto, and bike shops of the late 90s and early 2000s. Back then, shops were more than just places to buy things—they were places to spend time, talk bikes, watch videos, and be part of a community. That’s the feeling we’re bringing back.

While we sell bikes and offer full service, we never want customers to feel like they have to drop off their bike and rush out the door. Grab a coffee, sit down, watch a bike movie, and get into some good, nerdy bike conversation.
